Morning everyone,
I understood everything, some pronunciation problems-nothing major that can’t be improved. However, i thought it would have been better if he was sitting down- more relaxed. He sounded nervous. Obviously there was some training- the hands.
I’ve had students, over the years, preparing similar mini presentations; and we practiced and recorded in a number of different situations- with the hands, without the hands, standing or sitting.
Check out this video of aznar- quite good-no hands
For this type of presentation, it would have been better if he was sitting down at a desk, a more comfortable situation for him and not using his hands- and practice practice, playing with the voice, faster, slower.
You need to feel comfortable, get used to hearing your voice in another language that is not your native tongue.
At the end of the day, the main thing happened- he tried and did it. 🙂
If Aznar and Botin can do it, anyone can

Also there are a famous spanish sentences.
Andreea has a lot of sentences
For exemple:
1.- Running the band ( correr la banda en un partido de futbol)
2.- Good match (un buen partido, eres soltero y para una chica eres un un good catch)
3.- For the money will be (por dinero sera)
4.- From the lost to the river (de perdidos al rio)

The best one so far id Rachel’s experience when she said she wanted to take her baby brother to ‘Irati forest’ and the student understood ‘Erotic forest’… how can you not love teaching??
I have to prepare a special something on all the crazy misunderstandings in class.
Epic 🙂
