Winter assignment & contest!

Hi everyone!

As you probably found out this week we have a major project for next week (the latest) which consists in recording yourself speaking for at least 1 minute about a topic of your choice. You can talk about anything as long as you make it interesting and original, you can show us pictures or any item that helps you improve your presentation.

You can send your video here ra2andreea@yahoo.com or if it’s too big to send it by e’mail bring it on a memory stick πŸ™‚ OUR DEADLINE IS THE FIRST WEEK OF DECEMBER!

Acciona students- your best option is sending it via e’mail

KOXKA students- your best option is sending it via e’mail

Ingeteam students- e’mail or drop your video to Elena (the sweetest most wonderful receptionist in the world)

All the rest of my students- I know you’re all very responsible and you’ll make sure to complete your task successfully

————————————————————————————————————————————————

As soon as I’ll have all your videos they will be uploaded on the blog and you can vote for the best one leaving a comment to the post.

The author of theΒ best video (getting the most supportive comments) will receive a Christmas present the week before Xmas holidays.

It’s a contest for everyone so I’m asking our former students in Kayaba to join us in our very entertaining pre-holiday mission πŸ˜€

Mr. Handsome let me tell you the story of Bella and Edward.

Twilight- Bella’s mom and her boyfriend have to travel a lot so Bella moves in with her dad in a small town (Forks) where at her new school meets Edward and they fall in love. She discovers that Edward is a vampire but they can’t even kiss properly because everytime he gets close his first instinct is to kill her.

New Moon- Edward’s family (vampires as well) organizes a surprise b’day party for Bella where she manages to get a paper cut and one of the vampires, incapable of self control attacks Bella. Edward decides it’s too dangerous for Bella to be around vampires so he breaks up with her and moves away with his family.
Bella becomes suicidal so she tries to put her life at risk by doing severely stupid
things. Alice, Edward’s sister has a vision about Bella so Edward becomes suicidal as well and convinced Bella is dead he goes to the vampire authority The Volturi in Italy hoping that they would understand his story and kill him.
Alice finds out Bella’s not dead and together they go to save Edward from eternal damnation in Italy. She manages to save him and The Volturi are amazed and disgusted by a love story between a vampire and a mortal. However, the only condition they put is for Edward to turn Bella into a vampire… or else.
They both realize how stupid they were so Edward moves back to Forks and dedicates his life to loving Bella and keeping her safe.

I’ll tell you the other two stories soon πŸ™‚ but I hope I got your attention. I was a bit disappointed with Breaking Dawn (movie) because I wanted more action. I’d love to hear Esan’s opinion on the matter πŸ˜€ AND YES, YOU’RE RIGHT STUDENTS SHOULDN’T BE SO SHY AND THEY SHOULD START TYPING.

Mr. Handsome, as always you are an example for everyone!

    Evening all,
Ok, I don’t have and I can’t have an opinion on this matter, as I have not seen Twilight/New Moon etc.
These types of movies do not do anything for me.-teenage Vamp angst- the stories are the same
Ok, I like the whole Vampire thing, Interview with a Vampire, Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Bella Lugosi,Christopher Lee, and unforgettable Nosferatu with Max Schrek- the Blade Trilogy is classic, and I’m dying to see how they do ‘The Strain’ by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan- as a book, totally un-put-down-able, lets see how the movie is, hopefully as good as the book.
Maybe if I sat down and watched Twilight/New Moon, I would actually like it- I dunno, we’ll see

One thing of note, I really enjoyed Mr. HAndsome’s link
